# Small html5 validation issue

* Hi, i used an html validator and found a small error, an easy fix i can do on
my end but if you fix it on yours many people website will validate or at least
show less errors.
* it’s this line:
`/wp-content/plugins/wp-postratings/images/loading.gif" width
="16" height="16" class="post-ratings-image" />`
* debugger says:
Error: An img element must have an alt attribute, except under
certain conditions.
* I think if you added alt=”loading” it would solve the issue for everyone. Again
i can do it on my end but the point is most people will not modify plugins and
this benefits everyone, and it takes a few minutes to do. Please consider it.

* It was added before that. Then I have complains that Google is indexing the alt
text of the loading icon and hence I remove it.
