# Smart eCart API KEY error

 * I am receiving this error message on my website today. Smart eCart API KEY error:
   API server connection error.
 * It said if it lasts longer than 6 hours to contact support. I am not sure what
   it means or what needs to be done! Please help!!!

 * I guess this is most likely a hosting issue. Could you give more details. With
   whom are you hosted and what is your site url?

 * Sorry, This is a Plugin/Theme issue. You are using a theme/plugin that is requesting
   an api access to a smart ecart api service and that is what is triggering the
   issue. You should contact the plugin/theme author and not your host.
