# Smart replace sub/superscript?

 * Is it possible to automatically replace words such as “CO2” to “CO<sub>2</sub
   >”, and “Trademark®” to “Trademark<sup>®</sup>”?

   it’s not possible to do that as written. You could use Unicode subscripts though,
   i.e. replace `"CO2" => "CO₂"`.
