# SMTP error loop

 * hey so ive been trying to follow these two articles
    [how to set up smtp using the wp mail smtp plugin](https://wpforms.com/docs/how-to-set-up-smtp-using-the-wp-mail-smtp-plugin/)

 * but i am constantly getting various errors. in the beginning i had an error stating
   that my SMTP plugin wasnt sending any emails. so then i followed the article 
   and now i am getting a different error :
    There was a problem while retrieving
   Auth for mail: Class WPMailSMTP\Providers\Mail\Auth does not exist
 * initially this problem started because i wasnt able to send my verification email
   address to my new email. after days of trying to fix this i am stuck here. any
   help would be appreciated. i have uninstalled the plugin and started fresh three
   times. i always run into this error

 * in the setup it asks me to pass in the redirected URL from wordpress to the gmail
   API. when i do that it says that the link is an error…but URL is similar to that
   shown in the picture…
