# SoftwareApplication Schema

    I currently shifted to this plugin for Structured Data . [https://wordpress.org/plugins/schema-and-structured-data-for-wp/](https://wordpress.org/plugins/schema-and-structured-data-for-wp/)
 * As per the discussion in this support page, I understand star ratings (rich review
   snippets) in google search results is no longer supported for BlogPosting, Article
   etc.
 * I am planning to use SoftwareApplication schema which is supported by Google.
   
   For this purpose, using the above plugin, I want to change my default schema 
   for Post as SoftwareApplication.
 * Then I want to enable your plugin (currently deactivate) using BlogPosting.
 * Will this display the star ratings in search results again.

 * If your concern is only about stars rating in search result, no it will no show
   stars in serp.
 * I’m already working to integrate SoftwareApllication (I don’t think it’s the 
   right choice for your blog)
