If it were Akismet that was catching them, you’d see them in its spam panel. I rarely see Akismet come up as a bad player here in the forum (at least in this manner). I have seen the other come up lately. You might try temporarily disabling CommentLuv and asking a user known to have had trouble posting in the past try again. If it works, ask about this on the support forum for CommentLuv.

Hi everyone,
For a couple months now, I’ve been getting messages from people saying they’ve been trying to comment and it hasn’t been going through. The comment system isn’t totally borked, as I get comments every day that go through just fine.
I’m using a child theme of Coraline, which has been in place since before the problem. The two comment plugins I have are CommentLuv and Askimet.
I don’t know if there’s an easy fix for this, but I’ve got no idea where to begin looking so would really appreciate being pointed in the right direction!
