# Something keeps adding Users

 * I keep getting added users but the only thing is a user name and email and they
   all seem similar. How do I stop that from happening.

 * Rocky, are you running a multisite?
 * If so, it sounds like a spam bot trying to add new accounts. In your main admin
   account, turn off the ability to register new sites.

 * I don’t know what a multisite is so I can’t answer that question.
 * I went to Settings and then General and in that screen under Membership I un-
   checked Anyone can Register.
 * Is this correct?
