Hi @admessaynice
Hope you are doing fine!
The first step would be to perform a conflict test on a staging/dev site. Deactivate all plugins, except Forminator and switch to a basic theme like Twenty Twenty Two/Three. If the error is not displayed anymore with this setup, start activating the plugins one by one until you identify the one causing the conflict.
If performing the conflict test doesn’t help to identify any issues with other plugins or the theme, then please share the form export so that we could check the existing settings.
Please check the following doc on how to export a form:
https://wpmudev.com/docs/wpmu-dev-plugins/forminator/#import-export
If you are concerned about any sensitive information in the form, then you can duplicate your form, remove any sensitive information, and then export it. You can share the export file via Google Drive, Dropbox or any cloud services in the next reply.
Looking forward to your response.
Kind regards
Luis
Hey Luis,
I am doing well thank you for asking hoping the same you are also well. Once again thank you for the fast response. I am letting you know that I have already tried deactivating all plugins and themes but the issue still persists. I am sending the files over please check and confirm if recieved.
Thank you.
This is the form on the above link.

I am unable to send the other form that I am trying to import because I cannot edit it. Any time I try to edit it the error just appears thus it hinders me from removing any sensitive Information.
If there was any other confidential way I could send it please tell me.
Hi @admessaynice
Thanks for sharing the form!
I was able to import it to my test setup without any issues. I could also edit it – update, add and remove fields (of any kind), change fields options and so on – without any errors. It all worked fine for me there.
Given the behavior that you described and this test result, I’m even more convinced that this is in some specific way related to either particular site(s) or in some way to host (or maybe even to your particular device) so I’d like to ask you for a bit more testing:
1. if you have always used the same browser/device to work with these forms – please try different ones and see if it changes anything (also try with any browser add-ons/extensions temporarily disabled!)
2. try editing the form with browser console enabled and see if there are any errors whatsoever showing up during the process.
If there are, please let us know what are those errors.
3. Also, switch browser console to “Network” tab and there select “Fetch/XHR” tab, then try editing the form again – if there are any requests listed in that “Network” tab that are marked as failed (red) – please let us know what are they.
This should help find out someting to “hook up” to that would give us some clue on what may be happening here.
Kind regards,
Adam
HI Adam,
I did some trouble shooting and later found out that the form was working good and that it had no issue.
The main cause for this error “Something went wrong while saving your form. Please try again.” was due to Mod security in my hosting that triggered this to happen. I contacted my hosting provider and they whitelisted my ip so the issue disappeared just like that. As per now I am glad to report that the form is working well and has no issue.
Thank you very much for being there to help and also for timely response to my query.
Kind regards,
Admessaynice
