Hi,
thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.
Could you clarify this a bit? Where exactly are you seeing this problem? I searched your site for tables, and found two pages with tables, where the sorting icons show up fine for me.
Can you maybe take a screenshot of the problem (you can create one by pressing “Print” on the keyboard on Windows, or Cmd+Shift+3 on a Mac, and then upload it to a service like https://imgur.com/) and post the link here?
Regards,
Tobias
Hi,
thanks for the screenshots!
It looks like you are mixing a few things here 🙂
But, internally, where you build the tables, the up/down arrows are gone.
Indeed, there were sorting icons on the old “Edit” screen, next to the “A”, “B”, “C”, etc. column headers (these were outside of your table). That feature still exists, though! You can double-click on the “A”, “B”, “C”, etc. the new “Edit” screen to sort your table on the “Edit” screen!
And if I do a preview of those tables to show what would happen, it shows me that they would be gone.
No. As mentioned in the text above the table in the Preview window, the Preview does not support the “Table Features for Site Visitors” like Sorting, Search, and Pagination (and also hasn’t in the previous version)!
And just as expected, the table on the page https://rkoarmy.com/gallery-photos/ is showing the sorting icons. Or are they not shown for you on this page (if not, please try in an “Incognito” or “Private Browsing” browser tab to rule out caching issues, or issues from being logged in into WordPress.

Ah ha! OK, yup, I just went in and see the light on this. Thank you Sir for your eyes on this and thank you for a great product.
Hi,
no problem, you are very welcome! 🙂 Good to hear that this helped!
Best wishes,
Tobias
P.S.: In case you haven’t, please rate TablePress here in the plugin directory. Thanks!
