• Hi roland,
Great work on this plugin. Very useful and well done.
Apologies if this has been answered.
Im currently trying to display a list of doctors. The fields include practice name, name, phone number, address, and website. This is cramped as is, but I also have a field Medical categories, with some of the practices in multiple categories. I don’t think it is necessary to display that field, and cramp things up even more to where it doesn’t look good, but I do want to be able to search and sort by medical category even if it isn’t being shown. It seems you can only sort or search by a field that has a non zero column number. Any way around this? Thanks

Yes, you can get around this by using a custom template for your list display. It requires a little familiarity with PHP, but the template is well commented to help you. Use the “pdb-list-detailed.php” template as your starting point, and read this article for the full instructions and a tutorial: How to Create Custom Templates
