# Sortcode YOUTUBE doesn't work in wordpress 4.4

 * This morning i’ve updated to WORDPRESS 4.4 and now doesn’t work the shortcode
   of youtube in all my post.
 * For example

 * I am having the same issue after updating to WordPress 4.4.
 * Looks like URL and embed shortcodes still work, but the YouTube embed shortcode

 * Thanks for the report. That’s indeed a conflict between WordPress 4.4 and Jetpack.
 * We’re working on a fix, and will include it in the next release. You can follow
   our progress here:
    [https://github.com/Automattic/jetpack/issues/3121](https://github.com/Automattic/jetpack/issues/3121)
 * If you can’t wait for the update, you have 2 work-arounds:
    - You can try applying [this patch](https://github.com/Automattic/jetpack/issues/3127)
      on your version of Jetpack.
    - You can edit the posts where you found the issue, and update your YouTube 
      shortcodes from `[youtube=http://something]` to `[youtube url=http.....]` 
      instead. The videos will work again once you use the newer shortcode format.
