# Sorting gallery

 * In the 3.x version there was a option to sort a gallery.
   In the 4.x version and
   also in the old legacy Imagely settings it is gone.Please put it back to sort
   a gallery.

 * I apologize for any confusion.
 * You can still absolutely sort a gallery. While editing a gallery just click the**
   Sort Images** dropdown to sort the gallery by:
    - ID
    - Filename
    - Alt Text
    - Date
    - Invert Order

 * You can sort the gallery manually by dragging on the move icon. This is as before
   except you don’t need to go to a separate window.
