# Sorting posts by date

 * Hello there, first I want to thank you for the great plugin, the usual sorting
   works great, however I tried to somehow connect it with this snippet: [https://rudrastyh.com/wordpress/date-range-filter.html](https://rudrastyh.com/wordpress/date-range-filter.html)
   but didnt succeed. Basically I have two calendar date inputs and would want to
   show me only the results that are in the range, the original snippet doesnt work
   because its made only for publication date and not for custom fields. Do you 
   have any simple ideas?

 * Thank you for bringing this to my attention. I think there is no simple solution
   here, and implementing such a function could take some time.
 * However, I have an idea to create a Pro version of this plugin, and filtering
   by date seems to be a suitable candidate for a Pro.

   I actually succeeded with the implementation with custom code, I am sure a proper
   programmer would write a cleaner and re-usable function but if you want I can
   share it privately anyway
