# source code displaying horizontally

 * Hi,
    I noticed that the resulting source code of my site made with wordpress 
   is displaying mainly horizontally, 20 lines that keep running horizonally. [https://www.veronamostre.com/screenshot.jpg](https://www.veronamostre.com/screenshot.jpg)
   I don’t think this is normal. I tried to install some default themes and to deactivate
   plugins I installed recently but the problem persists. Any idea on why is this
   happening and if it is harmful anyway?

 * Not harmful. This is often done to reduce the size of the files that a user has
   to download.
 * Doesn’t look neat, but shouldn’t affect the usability of your site at all.

    After I read what you said I found out the
   plugin that is making this behaviour. It is autoptimize, for the reduction of
   file size. Thank you again.

 * you can always untick the “optimize HTML”-option and your source will be back
   to normal 🙂
