# Spam hack in my source code

 * I was hacked. I was using 2.2.2 and then upgraded to 2.3.3 hoping that would 
   solve things but it hasn’t. there is a string of spam links in my source code
   and I hope to get it removed. I tried posting it here, but this forum automatically
   deleted it because it was spam. Please see [http://www.therealtaiwan.com](http://www.therealtaiwan.com)
   and then click view source code. There after you scroll down a bit will see the
   spam links. They don’t appear on the site that I know of.
 * Oddly enopugh, there is now a ” /> at the top of my site as well. I hope to remove
   it ias well.
 * I don’t know how serious this is but it isn’t good.

 * Not sure you got this figured out, but this happened to me too and I wrote how
   to fix it. 5 posts down is the remedy.

 * That character has nothing to do with the hack. You’ve got a screwy meta tag 
   in your source and I’m willing to bet dollars to donuts it’s caused by the All
   In One SEO Pack plugin.
