Spam posts by email

    Hi. Two days in a row I have had a spam post emailed to my followers. It’s also been tweeted and put on facebook. It’s not showing on my site though.
    After the first one I changed my password but it happened again the next day.
    Send post by email has always been disabled on my account. The emails are coming from the gmail set up on my blog.
    Can anyone help me with this?

    Have you accessed your GMail account directly. Look at Sent emails, and also Trash to see if there has been any strange activity. Inside GMail, the last time you accessed and details of visits are available in the bottom right corner. Look for any suspicious activity (strange IPs etc) in there. I recommend changing the password on your email acccount. Check activity on your site too, for anything suspicious. Consider changing the password there too is my advice.

    Thanks so much for replying. I’ve changed my wordpress and my gmail passwords so fingers crossed that does it!
