I was using an internal email SMTP server without SSL, so have upgraded that for extra security. Have even turned AKISMET off and Contact Forms is still throwing SPAM errors. Then changed the form email address to akismet:email option, turned AKISMET back on and it’s still SPAM error on everything! It started about a month ago, but I didn’t notice until last week. All I’m getting back from the Contact Form messages is Error: SPAM. That’s with everything turned off.
