Speakup migration problems

    I imported the db from speakup without deactivating the speakup plugin first. While both plugins were activated I could see the imported petition and signatures on speakout fine. However, when I deactivated speakup the petition completely disappeared from speakout. Signatures were not displayed but their count remained. So, if I try to import again I see the message that speakout has 0 petitions and 280 signatures. If I import again the signature count is doubled to 560 although I do not see any of them in te panel. Petitions remain 0.

    Any explanations/solutions for this strange behaviour?

    Make sure that signature confirmation (double opt-in) isn’t enabled. That worked for someone else.

    Do you refer to the Opt-in default option at the Petition form settings? For which of the two plugins? This is set to “unchecked” in both plugins before the import attempt.
