Special characters on title

hi there.
I run this blog http://sentidocontrario.eu/
although the instalation and theme are in english I ran the blog in Portuguese, so far with no issues.
However in two recent posts I used special characters in the title:

António Costa faz batota
Francisco Louçã e o Relaxamento

Everything should be fine, even the permalinks work well, however, for some reason, AFTER the page load, the ó, ç and ã on those titles disapear, I think it’s something on the javascript, because when I disable it on firefox they don’t get “eaten”, but I can’t pin point the problem.
