# Splitting posts into Two Columns

 * I’ve come across an obscure theme listing for the ‘Tabloid’ theme ( [http://wordpress.georgievi.net/topics/word-press-themes/](http://wordpress.georgievi.net/topics/word-press-themes/))
   which claims to wield “a new plug-in from The Caretaker that transforms post 
   content into 2 columns.” I can’t seem to confirm the location nor the existence
   of this plug-in anywhere.
 * Is there such a plug-in? If not, are there any alternatives to it or other means
   by which to attain this automatic splitting of posts into two columns?

 * Weldy, download the theme and then look inside the “index.php” and you’ll see
   that the “plugin” isn’t a formal plugin. Instead, it’s an embedded function that
   is used as a filter. E.g. the code to split posts is in the template.

 * I figured that course would be the eventuality to resolving my issue. I will 
   probably return to this subject when it comes time to implement the code. Nonetheless,
   thank you for your assistance.

 * I’m coming into this way after the fact, but I’m the designer of the Tabloid 
   theme, and there *is* a plug-in for the 2-column feature.

 * After that plug-in was created, the Tabloid theme was modified to include the
   2-column functionality so that it would work better for sites that enabled the
   theme-switcher plug-in.
