# Spotify support?

 * Do you think it would be possible to add a field for a Spotify subscribe url 
   on the Settings > Destinations page? Or, alternatively, add a subscription url
   field with a customizable text label.
 * As of now, the Google Play setting is useless to us non-US podcasters, but Spotify
   is becoming more and more widely available.

 * We would gladly add Spotify subscribe URLs. Can you share the subscribe URL for
   your podcast to Spotify so we can use that as a template?

 * Sure thing! They’re of the format `https://open.spotify.com/show/5VLSpGUdg8HMZzk0ksDNfJ`
   and have to be copied & pasted from that particular podcast’s Spotify listing
   page (or at least I haven’t found a comprehensive listing of shows that would
   be available and findable by Google, for example).

 * Great! I will start the process next to see if we can use their logo for the 
   subscribe buttons. Otherwise we may have to come up with something creative.

   way would be to take a look at [https://developer.spotify.com/design/](https://developer.spotify.com/design/)
   and maybe even more specifically [https://developer.spotify.com/technologies/widgets/spotify-follow-button/](https://developer.spotify.com/technologies/widgets/spotify-follow-button/)
   and its ToS.

 * Yes I have seen these pages before, Unfortunately they have strict guidelines
   on their logo usage. For example from the 2nd link: “Currently there is no way
   no change the design of the follow button”. Simply using what they have designed
   will confuse folks who, everywhere else, does not follow a podcast but actually“
   subscribe” to a podcast. Once the dialog starts with Spotify the lawyers will
   have their discussions and hopefully they will allow us to use the logo with 
   text saying “Subscribe to podcast on Spotify” or some variant. Every company 
   we’ve worked with this has not been an issue, but Spotify is the only one that
   has such strict guidelines. Stay tuned.
