# SQL Database Questions/Problems

 * Hey all.
 * I love wordpress, but have come up with a problem. I am a relatively new user.
   I understand Database structures, but I am not an SQL or database wizard by any
   stretch.
 * I upgraded my blog to 2.71 (manually as Yahoo still hasn’t set it up) and all
   went well except my catagories function doesn’t allow me to add new categories,
   etc.
 * I added the phpmyadmin plugin so I could take a look at the database. My wp_term_relationships
   and wp_term_taxonomy tables are both damaged.
 * MySQL said: Documentation
    #1016 – Can’t open file: ‘wp_term_taxonomy.MYI’ (errno:
   145)
 * Is there an easy way to rebuild, these two tables, or re-install a new database
   and import all my other tables, etc into it ??
 * Help would be muchly appreciated.

 * Thanks for the responses,
 * To update everyone, as per rizaldy’s suggestion, I isntalled the wp-dbmanager
   plugin, and it was able to repair the two tables in question.
 * The phpmyadmin plugin was not able to do the same repair, so I will be switching
   over to wp-dbmanager, it looks more robust in terms of backups, etc. anyways.
