# SQL import or overwrite?

 * I had to wipe a hosting account after it was hacked recently.
    Removed all the
   files, scrubbed the directories and did a fresh install. Put WordPress on top
   of this and am not trying to rebuild the iste. However when I try to import the
   old Database into the new one using PHPMyAdmin I get the following error:
 * import.php: Missing parameter: import_type
    import.php: Missing parameter: format
 * I’ve tried a few different options but can’t seem to fix it.
    Would it be possible
   to rather than import the old database just to rename the old database (on the
   localhost) using the name of the new database, and do a copy/overwrite to the
   server?
