In order for us to get a better understanding of the issue, please attach a copy of your site’s System Status report. You can find it via WooCommerce > Status. Select “Get system report” and then “Copy for support” (after you scroll down a bit)”. Once done, please paste it here in your reply or via a text-sharing service like https://gist.github.com/.
Also, please check if there are any fatal/plugin-related error logs.
Here’s a quick guide on how to do that:
- Go to WooCommerce > Status > Logs.
- In the upper right corner, you’ll find a drop-down menu.
- Search for the keywords “fatal” and “Square”.
- This should display the relevant logs we’re looking for. If you find any, please select each log one by one and click view.
- You can then copy & paste them here, or use a text-sharing app like GitHub Gist or Pastebin.

I noticed a few important WooCommerce pages are missing for some reason, it could be due to another plugin/your theme overriding their behaviour.
Please make sure the cart and checkout pages have the corresponding shortcodes [woocommerce_cart], [woocommerce_checkout]. Then, navigate to WooCommerce > Settings > Advance and see if the same pages are assigned as cart and checkout.

I have added 2 short code [woocommerce_checkout] and [woocommerce_cart].

[Update] I tried with paypal payment method. The payment went through but the system didn’t connect to square. I can see the order in woocomerce but there is none on square.

Since WooCommerce isn’t recognizing these pages, then there’s most likely a conflict with another plugin/theme.
The best way to determine this is to:
- Temporarily switch your theme to Storefront
- Disable all plugins except for WooCommerce and Square only.
- Repeat the action that is causing the problem
If you’re not seeing the same problem after completing the conflict test, then you know the problem was with the plugins and/or theme you deactivated. To figure out which plugin is causing the problem, reactivate your other plugins one by one, testing after each, until you find the one causing conflict. You can find a more detailed explanation on how to do a conflict test here.
