I have tried that with no luck
if you have page ‘parent’ and page ‘child’ and you want to add a link in ‘child’ that points to parent, whle editing the child page using the ‘visual’ editor, click the LINK icon. To the right of the popup you will see a gear icon, click it and a drop down will show you all your pages. Scroll to the parent page and seledt it.
Done, you have a link in the child back to the parent.
I am wanting to add a link under the text on a child page to another website?
As I said there is no visual or text editor option. I don’t have the option boxes like on a standard page.
then you just get the url of the other website and when you click the link icon, paste that url in.
There is no link item on this page – which is where I am struggling?
Let me be sure I understand.
1) you are logged in with an ID that has ‘admin’ authority…correct?
2) you are in teh wordpredd page editor…correct?
3) the page is a child of another page – on the right of the edit area, there is a column labeled ‘Page Attributes’ and the Parent is specified….correct?
4) you are using the visual editor (top of the edit area on the right side you will see two tabs ‘Visual’ and ‘Text’ and you have clicked the ‘Visual’ taby…correct?
There is no page attributes section or anything you have mentioned. This is where I am struggling as I can see those on all the main pages but not this one.
There is a tab on the website home page (ranges) that then leads to a list of products. When you click on a product (electric height adj) it takes you to a new page where all the information on that product is shown. This is where I am wanting to include the hyperlinks as part of the text.
The ranges page comes up under the pages tab on the left hand side of the editor. I can see everything you have mentioned here.
There is a separate tab (ranges) for the follow up page on the left hand column. When I click on ranges and the product I want to edit it isn’t giving me any of those options? Just a text box only to write in.

Now that you have provided a link to the site, I see that you are using a custom theme.
We have no access to your custom theme so have no idea what it does. You need to contact the theme creator for help.
