# SSF & Cloudflare

 * I’ve started using Cloudflare. Do I still need SSF (or any security plugin)? 
   If yes, which parts of SSF should be deactivated, e.g. firewall, IP manager. 
   I wish to avoid conflicts or overkill. Can you recommend settings?
 * I have SSF on every site, it is suberb. Thanks.

 * We use our own plugin (obviously 😉 and CloudFlare on all of our sites. They 
   are complementary and there is no overlap really. CloudFlare does its work on
   traffic before it reaches your web hosting server, and our plugin does its work
   on the Application (WordPress) level. I don’t believe there’s overkill and use
   both together successfully for years 🙂
