    Hi,
I have a problem with my website, when I try to enter it shows a message saying that my connection is not private. NET::ERR_CERT_COMMON_NAME_INVALID
I checked my hosting and all appears to go well. However, checking my WordPress page I found a critical issue with my SSL plugin: I have an SSL certificate, but I can’t activate the really simple SSL plugin on WordPress.

Can you help me with this? Thanks in advance.

    Hi @ainaalbi,

your site is using an invalid SSL certificate. To fix this, a valid SSL certificate has to be installed. This can be done using Really Simple SSL by following these instructions: https://really-simple-ssl.com/install-ssl-certificate/

@veredes It sounds like you might have a similar problem. Could you provide me with your site address so I can check this?

Gracias @markwolters la web es veredes.es

@veredes the issue is the same, your site is using an invalid SSL certificate. You can also follow these instructions to install a valid SSL certificate: https://really-simple-ssl.com/install-ssl-certificate/

Thanks Mark, my hosting provider is OVH, in your instructions I read: SSL is free and activated by default. What I need to do? There´s nothing wrong that I can see in my hosting admin page. It´s strange it never happened before ><
