# Standard Theme Issues

 * Hey I have very little sources to show you as the website isn’t public yet – 
   but I have installed a theme called “Standard”.
 * I didn’t buy it so I have no support email access to the developers.
 * But it’s installed and seems to work fine. Except whenever I try and upload an
   image to their theme settings, I get an error.
 * I can upload fine to the media library – just nothing for their part. Very frustrating.
 * has anyone ever used this theme/experienced this problem before??

 * Get the login credentials from your client and request support directly from 
   the theme developers. There’s nothing wrong with communicating with developers
   of third party software, especially that you purchased, during your own dev cycle.

 * Thanks for getting back to me. Turns out they had signed up the theme with my
   details which is why I couldn’t get in. We paid $49 for the theme – is that the
   support licence? Or is that extra?
 * Sure, the error reads
    popup: “the page at (website address) says: error” space

 * $49 is the Standard License. You will need to [upgrade](https://www.e-junkie.com/ecom/gb.php?c=cart&i=STUP&cl=64302&ejc=2)
   if you want the Support License.
 * There is already an FAQ to address this issue on the forum. I can tell you that
   99% of the time it is due to PHP short tags not being enabled on your server.
   You will need to work with your host to get that enabled.
 * I will also mention that you have Standard 2. We released Standard 3 about month
   ago and it is vastly better than Standard 2 in many, many ways. If you did decide
   to [upgrade](https://www.e-junkie.com/ecom/gb.php?c=cart&i=STUP&cl=64302&ejc=2),
   then you would have access to Standard 3, and all future versions of Standard,
   for free as a Support License holder.
 * I can pretty much guarantee that Standard 3 will not give you this much hassle.
