Starting second site on the same host

    So now i have one site in Hostgator, i am running that site with wordpress.

    Now i’ve bought a new domain and i want to run a new site on the same hosting. Obviously i’m going to use wordpress for managing my site.

    Now should i install wordpress again for the new site or i can somehow just upload my site’s files to my hosting and manage my site from current installed wordpress platform?

    Generally each domain should be running it’s own WordPress install (ignoring multisite WordPress for now). So in your case, yes you would want to install a separate WordPress site for this new domain.

    No – you will need to install a second copy of WordPress.
