# Statement Descriptor issue

 * Hi,
 * There is an error when making a card purchase via Stripe::
 * “Sorry, You are being restricted from placing orders”
 * Stripe has gotten back stating that it no longer supports statement_descriptor:
 * As of 01/02/2024, Stripe no longer supports the “statement_descriptor” parameter
   on the PaymentIntent API for PaymentIntents, in which one of the supported `payment_method_types`
   is `card`. You can see more information here:

 * Hi,
 * Thank you. I tried adding the code but it did not work for me. Tried clearing
   cache and hard refresh on the purchase but still no sale.
 * I will wait for the Update.
