# Static front page plugin interferes with redirection plugins

 * I’m using [Semiologic’s Static Front Page](http://www.semiologic.com/software/static-front/)
   plugin to specify a starting page.
    Now I want to run one of the redirection 
   plugins (because I’ve changed my blog directory).
 * More specifically, I want to run: [Redirection](http://www.urbangiraffe.com/plugins/redirection)
   and/or [Moving](http://rmarsh.com/2006/09/23/moving-your-blog/)
 * But activating those, yields a redirection loop (the browser quits after a while)
   when requesting the front page. Can anyone help?

 * Try Home Page Control, which is (IMO) the better plugin for that purpose anyway.

 * Thanks. But HPC breaks my site. Activating it, I get:
 * Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_ENDWHILE in D:\home\gameresearchcom\www\
   wp-content\themes\rin\index.php on line 34
 * Which I’m not really sure what to do with…
