Static route map

Hi there

I’m looking for a plugin that can produce static maps of a journey I have taken.

I’m envisaging something not overly fancy or elaborate,more like say the standard lonely planet colour map with the red route line that shows a recommended route of travel.

I’d like to be able to embed this into a post.

Have looked high and low, but haven’t found anything that meets this relatively simple need – if anyone has come across something like this would appreciate a heads up.
