But since yesterday they cranked up to 2000, 4000 and more. I have doubts the tracking is accurate. Because the pages table does not match with the high count when i limit the range to these two days. I could see this happening for a page like your home page, but not really for any other page unless you are pushing traffic to a certain page aggressively. So yeah, these numbers do seem a little suspect to me. Do you have a link to your site so I can take a look? Did anything change yesterday? TL;DR: seems it was kind of DDoS-Attack because most of the views requested wp-login. php. it went back to normal 2 days later!
