 * I cannot test the connection to the database. Is this the original database or
   the target database. I understand is the target database.
 * “Error Processing Request
    An error occurred while testing the database connection!
   Please Try Again… If the error persists contact your host for database connection
   requirements. Status details: error”
 * I have read the following documentation found in the forum
    [https://snapcreek.com/duplicator/docs/faqs-tech/#faq-installer-100-q](https://snapcreek.com/duplicator/docs/faqs-tech/#faq-installer-100-q)
   Vapourhost says that I should be using localhost.
 * Thanks for the help

 * Hi,
 * Sicne i had installed wordpress already (with no changes). During the deployment
   phase (step 1) I renamed the file wp-config.php to wp-configold.php this allowed
   me to continue to step 2. Can that be the issue?
 * Which DB is reffering step 2 (the original or the target)?
 * After deploying I get this error when accessing to the web [https://businessaway.co.uk/](https://businessaway.co.uk/)
   “
   Error establishing a database connection” in the browser

 * Hey [@piteu125](https://wordpress.org/support/users/piteu125/)
 * Thanks for the feedback! I would recommend to never use the original database
   name. You should create a new database and connect to that one (aka target).
   Step 2 should always be the new database you want to create the site with.
 * Let me know if this helps~
