# Stock availability changes every time Database update

 * Hi to everyone!
    I’m running an ecommerce with Woo from November 2021. The store
   has many variable products and everytime Woocommerce database is updated, the
   stock of the products is changing.
 * For example: if I had a product with 2 variable, and two pieces of each clothes,
   after the update, the stock of each clothes pass from 2 to 0.
 * And that’s a big problem for business 🙁
 * Can anyone help me?

 * I understand that the stock count is changing on its own whenever the database
   is updated.
 * As a first step, could you make sure that your WordPress, WooCommerce, WooCommerce
   database, current theme and all other plugins are up to date?
 * * _It is recommended to always [have a full backup](https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/backup-wordpress-content/)
   of your [site and database](https://wordpress.org/support/article/wordpress-backups/)
   in place before making changes, to be on the safe side._
 * Next, **delete ** WooCommerce transients (and also the expired ones) by going
   to **WooCommerce > Status > Tools**
 * If everything is up-to-date and transients are cleared yet you continue to see
   this behavior then please share a copy of your site’s System Status so we can
   take a closer look. You can find it via **WooCommerce > Status**. Select “Get
   system report” and then “Copy for support”. Once you’ve done that, paste it here
   in your response.
