    We have following problem

    1. Jake Wall with installation placed in cart at 10:56 then closed the session/browser (still logged in, didn’t logout)

    2. 10:58: session re-opened, everything still in place in the cart. Session closed again.

    3. 11:39: session re-opened, everything still in place in the cart. Session closed again.

    4. 14:07: session re-opened and error seeing:
    • JAKE | Installation Medium Dog Door | In a Wall has been removed from your cart because it can no longer be purchased. Please contact us if you need assistance.

    If you see at the products all installations are always in stock, so it can never be that they can no longer be purchased because they are always there. Also weird thing is that the product dog door is still in the cart only the installation is removed. Also weird thing is that the product keeps in the cart only the installation is getting removed.

    I understand the issue you’re facing.

    To start troubleshooting, could you please share a screenshot of your Inventory settings?
    You can find this in your WooCommerce settings here: Inventory Settings.

    Additionally, to help me investigate further, could you provide a copy of your site’s System Status Report? You can find it by going to WooCommerce > Status. Then, click Get system report and select Copy for support. Once you’ve done that, please share the information.

    Hi,
    Because I indeed thought this was an inventory issue I disabled the inventory settings two days ago.

    Now today my client again put some products in his cart and after couple hours all products where still there but the installation was again gone. With the error message ‘%s has been removed from your cart because it can no longer be purchased. Please contact us if you need assistance.’

    What is going wrong?

    It seems that Stock Management is currently disabled in your WooCommerce settings.

    I believe the “Clear Cart and Sessions for WooCommerce” plugin may be affecting the cart functionality, which could lead to products being removed after a certain period.
    Could you disable that plugin and check if that resolves the issue?

    I want to understand what it says here in this dropdown.

    Hi the plugin you mention is to extend the time of the cart session. So in this screenshot you will see that we extend this with 60 days.

    I already contacted the plugin developer because that was my first initial thought that there was an issue with the plugin but they confirmed that everything works fine.
    That this was a problem probably with worpdress core.

    Hi there!

    Thank you for translation the settings. I have tried to replicate that issue on my test site but I’m not able to replicate that issue on my test site. It seems like there is a plugin or theme on your site which causes that issue.

    For us to investigate this further, can you please try to switch to the default Storefront theme and only WooCommerce plugin is enabled and see if this resolves the issue?

    If so, then this kind of problem is usually caused by your theme or a third-party plugin present on your site. We can run a conflict test to verify this. I’d recommend cloning your site to a staging environment and performing the tests described on this guide without modifying your live site or impacting customers. Many hosts provide staging facilities, so it’s worth checking in with them. It’s also possible to do it using the free WP Staging plugin.

    We are trying to set up a staging environment with our hosting.
    But to think maybe is it possible that this has to do with the plugin ‘WooCommerce Product Bundles‘ or ‘WooCommerce Product Dependencies‘?
    Because a normal product still stays in the cart until 60 days, only the installation product disappears.
    So you have a normal product with related product > Bundel, the installation.
    And on the installation product we have product dependency that links to the normal product.

    We’re unable to tell without you running a conflict test from your end. I recommend running a full conflict test as detailed on this guide and let us know how it goes.

    After, getting our hands on a staging environment we saw that the plugin that caused everything was ‘Country Based Restrictions for WooCommerce’. Thank you for the help, going to ask the developers there what the problem is.
