• Hi all,

I am having an issue with my website.

So we have updated the quantity of all of our products in the shop, and then we had a discount in which some of our stocks messed up, for example we had on some shirts 3 qty and now there is 20qty, do you maybe know how that could happen, and if yes a solution would be amazing.

Also, my next question is does woocommerce in default reduce the stock of the product for other costumers if the same product is added to the cart?

    Best,
    L

    Hey there!

then we had a discount in which some of our stocks messed up,

Can you tell me more about what that means exactly? That will help us give a more tailored response.

Also, my next question is does woocommerce in default reduce the stock of the product for other costumers if the same product is added to the cart?

WooCommerce does not reduce stock when a product is added to cart, it’s reduced on order placement. Whoever checks out first gets the stock.

Hopefully that helps! Have a great one!

    Hi AW,

    For the first question.

So basically we added some new products on the website, with different variations.

For example, we added a shirt white with 3 qty, but after a while, the qty was upped to 18, is that due to woocommerce due to high traffic that was in the time of the campaign or something else ?

We are also using Kinsta as our hosting provider and we never had this problem until the latest woocommerce update.

Regarding the second one, thank you for the answer, is woocommerce considering to add that feature in the future or? 🙂

    Best,
    L
