# Stop comments plugin

 * I’m looking for a plugin that will turn off comments after a specified amount
   of time has past from when the original post was done.
 * Example if a post was done on August 1 and once September 1 comes (30 days later)
   and someone goes to the post, comments won’t work anymore.
 * I hope that makes sense. I looked around and didn’t see anything like this but
   remember reading something about a plugin like this. I know you can manually 
   turn off comments but I’m hoping for an automated way. Any help would be great.

   links. You might have to go to [http://www.wp-plugins.net/](http://www.wp-plugins.net/)
   too. I know I’ve seen something like this before…. you might have to root through
   a hundred plugins/pages before you find it.

 * I found a plugin that does pretty close to what I wanted and figured that I’d
   share the link incase someone would like to do something similar.
