# Stop Scan button does nothing

    I am running P3 1.5.3.4 under WP 4.1 Installed P3 yesterday and ran an automatic
   scan successfully. Today I started a new scan. The progress window opened and
   stayed there for almost half an hour showing the same progress amount (like 20%).
   I clicked the Stop Scan button but nothing happened. After a while I reloaded
   the page. Now in the Admin P3 page I have a “Stop Scan” button on the top left
   with IP:<blank>. Clicking this button triggers nothing. I deactivated / activated
   the plugin and the situation remains the same. What else can I do? Thanks and

    Just a warning:

   will cause your code to run very slowly; instead create the object with the correct
   initial [Prototype](http://codex.wordpress.org/Prototype) value using Object.
