Suddenly, front of site WooCommerce product is displaying only strange code like the following. Product edit page appears as normal. Received no “problem with your website” emails. Any ideas welcome.

Could you please provide more information on exactly where you are seeing this strange code on the product details page? A screenshot would be very helpful so we can see the issue clearly.

This is how it appears in Firefox. The page is appearing OK in Chrome, but clicking on Cart shows a 503 error. I’ve deleted cookies, reopened Firefox. I’ve deleted cache and now Firefox page appears blank except for menu.

Thank you for the additional details. Since the issue only appears in Firefox, and now the page is showing blank except for the menu, this strongly suggests a browser-specific caching or script loading issue, or something on the site blocking resources under certain conditions.
The 503 error when clicking the Cart is also a server-side response, meaning something on the server is temporarily rejecting or failing to load that request.

Just to verify: have you updated WooCommerce on the site where you’re seeing the strange message? Are you currently able to access the site?
I updated to Woo Version 10.4.0. while I was holding on with the Chat tech who was unable to resolve the “server under maintenance” issue. There was no improvement.
My issue has been escalated to admin level at the Host. Waiting to hear back.

I have a glimmer of a clue!
There is SOMETHING about the last product I added to WooCommerce that APPEARS to be causing the odd code and Service Unavailable error. I created the Product by copying and pasting text from the page that was using a PayPal button. I THINK I was careful to not grab any button code, but I will try again to “sanitize” what I am pasting into the Description fields of the WooCommerce edit product page. Meanwhile, should I also look out for any product options that might cause an error?

However, I checked the product page for this product:

in Firefox, and I’m not seeing any strange message there either.Just to confirm, has your issue been resolved, or are you still seeing the same message in Firefox?
While I am logged into the Dashboard I am seeing code on the front of site Cart page in Firefox. Just code, the rest of the page is blank. Logged out of Dashboard, and with cache and cookies cleared, and Firefox closed and opened, then I see the Cart page correctly. Same for Chrome, I am seeing the Cart correctly as a not logged in user. So, unfortunately, there is still something wrong when I am logged into the Dashboard.

For testing purposes, could you please:
- Deactivate all plugins except WooCommerce
- Activate a default theme, such as Storefront
- Check if the issue still occurs while logged in
