Strange Data & Errors On Webmasters From Sitemap

Hey guys,

We recently launched a new version of our website http://goo.gl/4IxO3s and have since found half our articles have disappeared from Google. I expect this is because of some downtime during the transition but we’re getting strange information from Webmasters. We used a different SEO plugin before the new launch and everything was fine, however we’ve since switched to this one and are having some issues.

According to Webmaster tools we’ve submitted 100 URLs and 29 have been indexed, despite having thousands of posts submitted and indexed prior to the new site launch.

I submitted sitemap_index.xml as the new sitemap and it returned 400+ errors on Webmasters “Url blocked by robots.txt.”.

Can anyone provide some advice on how to sort these problems out? Any help is greatly appreciated 🙂

We also have a file at /sitemap.xml although not entirely sure where that’s coming from lol Is that going to cause any problems?
