Strange issue with installation – help?

    I don’t *think* I am doing something super stupid, but I would be really grateful of some advice.

    I have a ga account set up, got my tracking code.
    Installed the plugin, inserted tracking code (starting UA) into the ‘manually enter your UA code’ field.
    Save settings.

    And…. nada. I’m aware that tracking takes up to a few days to come through, but what makes me think it isn’t working is the Status on GA – Tracking not installed.

    I also tried the ‘reauthenticate with google’ and it does it successfully (seemingly) – correct tracking code, etc, but GA still says my website has no tracking.

    I’ve also checked my sites page info/code and the UA code is not there.

    Any ideas?

    Just checked and my header does have the <?php wp_head(); ?> code that should enable this plugin to work.
