 * I am managing WordPress sites on multiple servers. I have memory problems on
   one particular server and I am wondering why I don’t have them on the other one.
 * I have installed WP System Health and WP-Memory-Usage to monitor the memory usage
   of the site.
 * On two servers (lets call them 1 and 2), I have WordPress English installed,
   with a couple of plugins, and they take about 17-18MB of memory.
 * On another server (lets call it 3), I have a WordPress French site installed,
   without any plugin but the ones to measure memory, and it takes 24MB.
 * I thought that the problem was with the localization. However, I have also tried
   to install WordPress English on server 3, and it also takes 24MB of memory.
 * Since the memory limit on server 3 is 32MB, this is pretty annoying since I can’t
   do much without running into problems.
 * Now, servers 1 and 2 run with Linux 2.6.18, with PHP Version 5.1.6
    Server 3
   runs with PHP 4.3.9 / 0Bit OS
 * Can it be because of the version of PHP that the same, basic WordPress install
   takes 7MB more of memory ? Is there a way to deal with it ?
 * P.S. : All versions of WordPress are 3.0.1.
 * Thank you

 * PHP 4 does have a higher memory footprint than PHP 5.
 * WordPress 3.2, due the first half of 2011, will require PHP 5.2 or higher, so
   I strongly recommend upgrading server 3.
