# Strange Problem

 * I’m having 2 problems (that I know of):
 * 1. The simple one is that permalinks aren’t working. I get a “404 Not Found” 
   page when using them. I checked, and there is an htaccess file, but it’s blank.
 * 2. If I click a link like “Visit site” from any of the admin pages, then my site
   opens up just fine. BUT if I type the URL in directly, then it rewrites and goes
   to the wrong place (it writes in the host domain).

   to work either:

 * I can’t think of any way to show you the site, but I promise it’s there. If I
   use an internal link (from WordPress admin) then it opens up just fine.
