# strange problem – default language changing

 * Hi, I have the weirdest problem that, as far as I can tell, no one else has mentioned
   on the forum:
 * I’ve recently launched a site with about 12 languages – during development everything
   was fine – never a problem – but upon launch, suddenly every few days the site
   starts forwarding itself to another language instead of the default english. 
   The strange thing is that the actual settings in WordPress do not change, it’s
   just that upon visiting the website, it goes to any other language, instead of
   English.
 * One lead I’ve found is that it could be potentially related to caching, as I’m
   on WP Engine. But, I’ve turned caching off, and still the problem persists.
 * Does anyone have any ideas?
