Hi, I’ve installed the Latest Map widget at the bottom of my sidebar (beneath the Latest Activities widget – which is working great). I’ve set up and enabled the Google static map API and other details per the setting instructions/FAQs but the map does not display. Only seeing a small black box with a white X in it. If you hover over and click the small black box it launches the correct page in the Strava app. If I review the statistics for the Static Map API on Google it shows 9 attempts and 9 errors – though I can’t see any detail as to the errors. Any thoughts?

Hi @dheigel – I went to that page and opened the broken image in a new tab and got this message:

The Google Maps Platform server rejected your request. This API key is not authorized to use this service or API.

You might need to double-check your key, and make sure you’re logged in to the right google account if you have multiple. When you visit https://console.developers.google.com/apis/library/static-maps-backend.googleapis.com/?q=static make sure the right user account is displayed in the upper-right.

If all else fails, you might be able to ask google through your g-suite account.
