# String (19) Something went wrong

 * I just upgraded to 3.0. I use a Pro Photo theme. When I try to upload a bio picture
   or background image, I get this error: String (19) “blog background image.jpg”
   Something went wrong. I ran a search but couldn’t find any topics on this. Anyone
   have any idea what’s wrong?

 * Have you tried:
 * – deactivating **all** plugins to see if this resolves the problem? If this works,
   re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).
 * – switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-specific problems?
 * – [resetting the plugins folder](http://codex.wordpress.org/FAQ_Troubleshooting#How_to_deactivate_all_plugins_when_not_able_to_access_the_administrative_menus.3F)
   by FTP or phpMyAdmin? Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause
   problems.

 * Hi,
 * I’m having this same problem when I try to upload a new masthead image. Sometimes
   is says “string(27)” sometimes “string(11), etc. I tried deleting all my plugins,
   and that didn’t help.
 * Any other ideas what the problem might be? I’m running Prophoto2.
