 * Hi there, how are you outputting the reading time on your site? If you’re using
the shortcode you would need to translate the shortcode itself as opposed to
   the strings for the labels.
 * If you are using the option to add the reading time to the excerpt or the content
directly, have you checked with WPML support?
 * Also are you using the latest version, 2.0.15? That changed to load the plugins
locale on the init call which should work better with other plugins.

 * Hello [@yingling017](https://wordpress.org/support/users/yingling017/)
 * thanks for your reply, im not using the shortcode, i just left checked the two
options “Insert Reading Time before content” and “Insert Reading Time before
excerpt”, i will then check with WPML support thanks.
 * I also will try using the shortcode and translate it.

 * Hello, i solved with the help of WPML support.
 * For convenience i paste their answer, maybe it can be useful for other users:
 * > From the screenshots attached it seems that you can change those texts in an
   > admin screen. In that case there is an extra step you might need to do.
   > – Go
   > to “WPML > String Translation”– Scroll to the end of the page and click on
   > the “Translate texts in admin screens” link at the bottom left– On the next
   > page, search for that string, select it (checkbox on the left) and click on“
   > Add to String Translation”– Go back to String Translation and translate it
