# Stripping Elementor Based HTML from Posts

* I am migrating a site from Elementor to a different page editor. All the posts
were created and edited using Elementor. I can’t use the posts unless they are
cleaned up.
* Is there a way to strip all the Elementor based html from posts and to leave
just the text and core html for images and links that are in the post?

* Unfortunately, this is not currently possible with Elementor default settings.
You may be able to achieve that using a 3rd party plugin, but, we can’t recommend
third-party plugins given that we do not have any control over them and cannot
guarantee they will be fully compatible with Elementor.
