 * Anytime I try to add code to the Additional Information box that has iframe code
in it (youtube and goodreads widget) it is stripped after I hit update. Very
frustrating as I’d like to add more thing to my book page than you have options
   for.

 * WordPress itself strips out the iframes for security reasons.
 * You could try this plugin: [https://wordpress.org/plugins/iframe/](https://wordpress.org/plugins/iframe/)
and see if that works for you.
 * There was a bug in the Additional Information section that was preventing it
from using shortcodes. That’s now been fixed in version 3.3.3.
 * With version 3.3.3 and the iframe plugin, I am able to use iframes in the Summary,
   Excerpt, and Additional Information fields.
 * ( I have no affiliation with the above mentioned plugin. It was the first that
came up when googling “wordpress iframe”, and having a hundred thousand downloads,
a 4.8 star rating, and being recently updated make it look like a plugin that
will work well and be maintained. )
 * Hope this helps!

 * Actually it only strips them in the free version not in self-hosted WP sites.
I use iFrames just fine in the rest of my site, but not in this plugin.

 * On further digging, it appears the actual form fields used were not allowing
iframes. This should be fixed in version 3.3.6 and iframes should be allowed
in the Summary, Excerpt, and Additional Info fields.
